A Dream I Cannot Reach

Chasing the Unreachable

By PSYGENIUSPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

I walk a path that feels too long,

A silent road where I don't belong.

The weight of dreams is hard to bear,

While peace escapes me

everywhere.

I close my eyes and see the place,

Soft mountains, air, and a calm

embrace.

A life of love, with friends so true,

A dream so clear, yet far to pursue.

But here I stand, with empty hands,

No voice to hear, no helping lands.

The world moves fast, I fall behind,

A quiet war inside my mind.

Still, I rise, though shadows stay,

Hoping light will find my way.

For even in the deepest pain,

A dream can guide through

endless rain.
