A Different Solution To Indifference Limerick
When inappropriate behavior may actually be appropriate
I have found that the classical art memes found on Facebook at several groups and pages are a treasure trove for limericks. Absolute limerick gold. It has been a lot of fun for me writing and sharing them. And they offer great funny visuals and commentary on "the human condition and real-life experiences" that translate well into silly five-line poems. Just like this one.
Certainly, a rite of passage growing up is messing around and finding out and dealing with the things that motivate you to do it.
Your apathy has come under the gun
And there’s no sign it’s near the end of its run.
This can’t be ignored –
You’re still really bored…
But if you mess around you’ll find out it’s fun!
