A Deeper Meaning

A Christmas Poem

By Eagleye De SparkPublished about a year ago 1 min read

An infant's birth to be renown,

The talk of every Christmas town,

A single star that lit the way,

A newborn baby in the hay,

The living savior who’d give his life,

To save our souls from pain and strife,

Come to earth to be our light,

And guide us through the darkest night.

All of Christmas points to him,

To the man who conquered sin,

So place a star upon your tree,

Remind yourself that we are free,

On this day that we all love,

He watches us from up above,

Don’t be naughty, better Nice,

For Christ has paid the final price.
