My heart feels heavy

In the depths of sorrow and despair,

My heart feels heavy, burdened with care,

The weight of sadness, I cannot bear,

As tears stream down, a constant affair.

My mind is clouded with thoughts of woe,

The pain within, it seems to grow,

A sadness that I cannot forego,

As I struggle to find my way, and to know.

The world around me seems so bleak,

A darkness that I cannot seem to break,

The hopelessness, it seems to leak,

As I find it hard to stay awake.

The sadness that I feel inside,

Is a constant reminder that I cannot hide,

The pain that I feel, I cannot deny,

As I search for a way to heal and to thrive.

But in the midst of all this sadness and pain,

I know that there is hope, a light to sustain,

And so I cling to the hope that remains,

That someday, I will find joy again.
