War, oh war
A cruel and heartless beast
A destroyer of homes, a killer of dreams
Leaving only grief and despair in its wake
Innocents suffer, families torn apart
Lives lost, futures uncertain
All for the sake of pride and power
But what do we gain from war?
Nothing but destruction and regret
Hatred and animosity only breed more conflict
While peace and understanding bring healing and growth
The sound of bombs and gunfire
Echo through the streets
Leaving only ruins in their wake
As the cycle of violence repeats
But amid the chaos and destruction
There is still hope for change
For when we come together
We can rearrange
The world we live in
To one of love and peace
Where every person is valued
And differences are released
So let us stand united
And say no to war
For only through unity
Can we open a new door
To a brighter future
Where love and understanding reign
And the horrors of war
Are nothing but a distant pain.
So let us choose to lay down our arms
And embrace each other with open hearts
For in unity and compassion, we will find true strength
And finally know the peace that war can never bring
