A country of ancient origin.

Oh, the land that I hold dear,

Where my heart would surely steer,

Neither upon this earth nor past the sea,

But through the foresight of a seer,

Oh the country to which I cling fast,

With trust in the captain before the mast,

The eye cannot see, but the ear can hear,

Through the spirit, which draw me near,

Oh the country of delayed longing,

Whose foundations built by an eternal being,

To which my heart would cling steadfast,

He who was and is, and is to come,

Despite that which he detests is left behind,

Whose origins are beyond the foreunners of the past.
