Wish a boat from the dock

and stand alone.

It’s time to leave the oars behind,

and soldier on, brave sailor.

Curried night sky overhangs;

changelings flutter their

signal to the earth: take rest.

Forget the crew,

whose purpose has diminished,

the convoy dispersed.

Propellers of the soul

men can naught extinguish,

nor terrene vessel contain.

Broad space and time

give new lift to all spirits

and fly again, you will.

But tonight...

make dreams.
