A collection of poems

Wanted to sit and process some stuff so just started writing

I feel like writing again - a Haiku

Sitting in the sun

My favourite writing spot

I’ve cried a lot here

-

Prides here

Like birthdays that make time feel like it stops

Big reoccurring celebrations always bring me back a year

To when it happened last

If it was a happy memory

I become sad in knowing that

as soon as it had passed

It became something I lost

If it was sad

I just feel it again

And the present becomes a time

Of mourning

It’s been a year

And I look back

And I just sit

In my grief

-

Horror movie idea

Commuting to the laundry mat

Weird stuff starts to happen

Guy on the bus keeps screaming

the only door is the cemetery

Girl on the bus who doesn’t speak English who is sitting near him, scared for her

Can’t tell if it’s my drugs talking or if it’s real

I have to warn her

Let her know and she smiles - I can’t tell if she’s grateful or nervous

Get to the laundry mat

Creepy high tech laundry machines

With foreign codes

Calls person that I’m in love with

Wanting to tell them everything that’s happened but person doesn’t seem to care cause they’re busy, said will see me soon

They should be here soon, I think

They said they would come and see me

Hang up phone

Try to distract myself

look at creepy painting in laundromat

Mind spirals into its acrylic face

Fear is the connecting link between everything

Fixating on one part of it that looks like blood

Is this real

Thoughts getting louder and scarier

Is THIS real

Picture trembling violently because of the revolting pressure of the washers

The only way out is the cemetery

Girl that I could not save

Everything is aligning

Focus getting deeper into painting

Can’t get out

Can’t breath

Is this real is this all real

Hear the sound of a bell chime

Quickly snap back to check and see if they came

They didn’t come

They forgot

They will never love me back. That’s the real horror
