From far away across land and sea, I have come to find you;

My heart and my hands have been blue,

In the cold bitter years on the ocean.

Home at last, and here you are, a stranger on a sunny day;

Darling if I may,

I think we were meant to be.

A bitter drink we share, so different than the coast;

You've made a strong dark roast,

That really hits the spot.

There is one thing left to say, I think it's destiny;

I cannot leave it be,

So I must ask: my love, will you marry me?
