A City's Survival
how everyone thrives in a couple of days
the world is doomed beyond belief
judging by the way things are it's hard to stop
that begs the question on what it is
a group of people fighting in the city
many of the young sick in hospital
homes not standing strong enough
others are alone on the street at night
finding empty bottles in hopes of getting cash
trying to avoid dirt filled water and the harsh cold weather
broken down buses riding downtown to get fixed
the street lights are not working right at all
only the next day everybody will come together to make things better
