A Castle of Sand

A castle of sand in the sea......

The slow steady waves of the sea crawling over the face of sand. The sand not bothered, mixes with the harmony of it all. With every stroke of the wave, they seem to get closer and closer. Now where is the sea and where is the sand?

The heart of the sea saltier in the awe of sand. The saltiness making the sea unworthy of drinking but worthy for the sand to love it more and more.

What is it? Is it love? Is it habit? Are they stuck together? or do these questions seem to scorn their value?

Something so pure, yet so salty with the pain of losing it all. Everything seeming like a dream, the dream of flying to the moon, playing with the stars, with the fear of falling back to the ground in the dark.

Praying to drown in the sea with the sand. The sea in my heart, the heart given to one and hurt taken from one. Drowning with the hope to swim to the one. The one with my missing part. The one in love with my demons. The one worth all my love. The one remedy to this soul. The only one worth dying and living for.

The sun guiding me in the sea to the one. My eyes fighting to be open in the water, struggling, just to see the one.

The struggles fading away as I find her. Forgetting all the past pain. The pain turning into a sweet pleasure. The pleasure of seeing her in the sea under the sun. Her smile making the sun’s shine gloomy. Just a sight of her is like a chaotic comfort. With my heart content with one sight of her.

The feeling when I know I found what I needed.

I was looking for her everywhere, but all this time, she was in me.

In a castle.

A castle of sand in the sea of my heart.
