A Canadian Love Song

with love and memories

A Canadian Love Song

I fell softly

head over heels

into the snow

catching my breath

on your Canadian lips

which were always dripping with sweet

maple syrup coated words

love notes in pockets

were hand warmers

as we shared headphones

bearing another's music

baring our souls

songs you sang to me

never forgotten
