A Broken depressed man
Heart in shreds he wants his wife

A Broken depressed man
He wakes to silence, cold and deep,
A house once full, now left to weep.
Echoes linger, soft yet cruel,
A ghostly trace of love’s old rule.
Her chair untouched, her scent still clings,
A wedding band, her once loved ring.
The world moves on, but time stands still,
Each breath a wound, each step uphill.
The bed is wide, yet he won’t sleep,
Her voice still haunts the air so steep.
A whisper lost, a dream betrayed,
A promise death has torn and frayed.
The mirror shows a hollow man,
A broken heart, a destroyed plan.
No sun, no stars, no guiding light,
Just endless shades of empty night.
So many tears this man has cried,
He misses her by his side.
She was his first love, she is his last,
For he is broken,
Depressed for the loss of his past

Again sad poem
I can so relate to this: "He wakes to silence, cold and deep, A house once full, now left to weep. Echoes linger, soft yet cruel, A ghostly trace of love’s old rule." Everyday !
This is a poem that one needs to read for oneself in a case such as this and maybe he will see that she is not really gone for he has memories to share and remember.
