Bangkok

City that never sleeps,

Traffic jam capital

Of the planet.

24/7 energy,

Eight million inhabitants,

Super poor to mega rich,

Hive of people working around the clock.

Ears resonate with the roar of traffic,

Sense of smell gets a workout

From the traffic fumes, incense,

Jasmine blossom, and city pongs.

Frenetic metropolis,

Sensory overload,

Vast urban sprawl,

A cacophony of life.

I had an incredible experience walking across a pedestrian overpass during my visit to Bangkok, Thailand, last year. It was exciting to observe the traffic from that perspective.

The energy of one of the most dynamic capital cities in the world, combined with the constant flow of vehicles below, offered some fantastic photo opportunities.

From that height, the sights of cars, buses, motorbikes, and tuk-tuks navigating through the streets were mesmerizing and a bit overwhelming in the best way possible.

At that moment, I truly felt like I was in the heart of the place.

Have you ever had a moment where you felt like you were truly in the heart of a place? Please share your experiences in the comments.
