A Bee Flew Up My Nose

A bee flew up my nose today,

I swatted, sneezed, it buzzed away.

It wriggled in, I gasped in fright,

A fuzzy missile taking flight!

I danced around, arms flinging wide,

While people gawked from curb and side.

“She’s lost her mind!” one old man swore,

As I sprinted past the grocery store.

I sniffed, I snorted, eyes turned red,

The buzzing rattled in my head.

Then with a sneeze—a mighty blast.

That little menace shot out fast!

It tumbled, looped, then gave a glare,

Like I was rude for breathing air.

It buzzed off, sulking, unimpressed,

While I just sighed and caught my breath.

Oh thanks for the chuckle this morning! Such a cute poem reminiscent of Shel Silverstein who really was the start of my love for poetry
