A Bad Day

What my imagination creates from fear

I woke up one morning

And put on my shoes

Then I went downstairs

And watched the news.

I tripped and fell on my way to school

I was just trying to act cool.

I stood up and everyone laughed

I looked behind me to see what had passed

Come to my surprise they were laughing at me

I tried so hard to see what they see.

I quickly became one of those miserable teens

Because when I looked back there was a hole in my jeans.

Later that day I had more bad luck

I almost got hit by a semitruck.

Oh, what a day this had to be

Why did this have to happen to me?

This day is over

Thank goodness for that.

It's a day in my life

I can never get back.
