A 13.49 Airport Shot That Was Gone Too Fast
An Airport Rage Poem
This is a rage poem wrapped in crispy bacon, and I don’t even like bacon
The greasy drips and glazes over like my eyes from all this
You see, I’m angry
Enraged at the constant uprooting of my ass
So, I chugged a Canadian whiskey neat
Ordered a Texas burger that I'll only eat half of
While sitting in fuckin' North Carolina (no offense to y'all)
Like is there even a South Carolina?
Who even knows
The country is just pieces anyways
But same! So jokes on all of us, right?
Nod your head and smile, agree
Because that's what we've fallen to
Complacency, conformity, settling into the chaos because that's what's been shat in our laps and what we've been spewing
But see, I want revolution
Rebellion, riots, rage
Flip the damn table and don't place it back until shit gets fixed
Because we're living in pieces, strategically and carelessly carved out with a shiv of a criminal in office
And I hate flying through here all the damn time.

The irony is solid….
Rebel yells are always my kind of thing. I especially liked this one.
Once the sleepwalkers awaken & realize what they've been fed (& regurgitating), there will be no mercy nor quarter given. Better for the clever oligarchs to cut their losses & confess/amend their crimes while charity yet prevails among those who are awake & aware.
Oof, heavy poem. I especially liked, "Flip the damn table and don't place it back until shit gets fixed". The rage comes through perfectly. Really amazing piece of poetry!
DX I kinda wished I could live in space. That way I wouldn't have to deal with everything on Earth anymore.
