"90's Kid"
Dedicated to awesome childhood of 90's kid.

My childhood in the 1990s was fantastic.
My childhood was very honest at the time. In addition to scolding the parents, we also thrashed the master at school.
We are the kids who were taught ABCD by beating instead of playing games.
Whenever our nails were checked in school, we used to drive them with our teeth.
When our fees were not paid, the master used to expel us from class.
Instead of wearing white uniforms on Wednesdays and Saturdays, we wore blue uniforms.
He used to wear rubber bands when the rubber on his socks became loose, and after the test, he used to complain about stomach pain at home.
We had to come from school every Saturday to see Shaktimaan.
We used to play all day without doing homework, so something as simple as a mobile phone was unusual for us.
There was no such thing as a luxurious residence at the time.
Although the house was small, the family was large.
There was no fast food available at the time, but there was plenty to eat at home.
We have not consumed Cadbury Dairy Milk at festivals, but we have consumed sweets to the brim of our stomachs and blasted fireworks into the wee hours of the night during Diwali.
Our descendants have not made more colourful pichkari during Holi than we have.
We are happy to have flown the highest kite in our neighbourhood on Makar Sankranti; after getting ready for the photo shoot, we all went to the studio.
There was no selfie back then, so we used to take photographs of all the groups, frame them, and display them in the house exhibit.
During the summer school holidays, we used to go to our grandmother's house rather than to a tourist attraction.
We used to sleep on the terrace in the summer because the AC conditioners did not operate at the time.
You didn't have a shower or a water park where you could take a bath.
We used to visit the property and bathe in the tube well.
We didn't consume butterscotch and vanilla as kids; instead, we were content with black sour gola.
We used to sleep after watching the Friday night movies on DD National, not Enrique and Justin Bieber, when there was no animated web series. We used to listen to our songs and make up our own tunes at the time.
We used to sing Vande Mataram instead of the Babu-baby song at the time.
We used to attend school on the 26th of January or the 15th of August to have laddoos and boondi, to say good morning to the teacher in class, and to sing the song "Thank you teacher" in unison once we sat down.
We 90's kids didn't grin and used to giggle a lot as kids.
At this moment, the songs "Good Morning Teacher" and "Thank You Teacher" should be playing in my head once more.
