8 HAIKUS:

*

Everything began

An expanding point in time

So once all was here

**

That stone cast last year

Yet bypassing time ripples

Unseen will be felt.

***

Memory, a Byte

Pixels failing bit by bit

The thin timeline.

** **

That tall old tree which

Saw more springs than all countries

Was torn by a bomb.

** * **

Tiny virus, as

Tiny as humans compared

To the blazing Sun.

*** ***

Paper time machines

With scents of roses dried in

Nineteen eighty-three.

*** * ***

Time is no matter

Of atoms, stars, or planets

It is made of hope.

**** ****

Not the last to die

Among us, hope and time are

The first to be born

childrens poetry
