There I stand, I FEEL my heart beating in my skin.
Eyes shut, I HEAR your voice speaking to me from within.
I open my eyes, and what I SEE are the stars twinkling in the sky.
I smile and LAUGH inside, and then I slowly start to cry.
I can TASTE the tears flowing down from my eyes as it hits my lip, you stand next to me, TOUCH my hand and start to grip.
Even though i may not acknowledge it, I always feel the LOVE from inside. I know you’re always there, as you reside in my mind.
7 wonders of the world keep me feeling close to you, without you always with me, I don’t know what I would do.

The Lesions of Devotion
Every day I set myself down on the freshly cut lawn and strip myself bare. I take my guitar and finger the frets and pick at the strings, listening for dissonance. My life is dissonance. I twist the tuning pegs until each string sounds bright. Then I kneel, calves pointing behind me, kneecaps facing forward. All exposed to the breeze. I close my eyes and play the melody.
