5 Haikus

Nature hymns

1

I saw flocks of finches

Singing from oak top

My heart is healed

2

Copious Pyracantha flowers

Smelly for human nostrils

For bees, fountain of nectars.

3

Sea of mustard yellows

On the velvety green hills

In sky, soaring swallows.

4

So many chrysalis

Hanging on the wall

In journey of metamorphosis.

5

Dandelion seed-heads

On an overcast day

Little things to heed.
