many things course through my mind

at 3:33 am

like all the time i've wasted

and what could have been

and who i could become

if i would just try

and how much time

how much of my life

is just passing by

i think about moments decades away

sometimes i think of yesterday

i don't close my eyes

i don't fall asleep

because i dipped my toe

into the sea of memories

and now i'm in too deep
