2026 Resolutions Or Not
Susan Peyton’s New Year's resolution acrostic poetry
No resolutions for me this year
Even if I were to make them
We know most of us break em
Yes, by the end of the month, I fear
Every year, I make them; some are a real gem
And why would this year be any different?
Remind me of one I didn’t break; just a bit vociferant!
Some did bring a tear
Really thought I would be better at this by now
Even though my record is so low, even with the vow
Sometimes I think I will succeed, only to fail
Okay, I’m not going to jail
Luckily, I am usually the only one to know
Until this year, I plastered it all over, so
This is the year my resolution will mean something
It is PUBLISH
Oh, how I hope to find a publisher, and not self-publish
No, either way, this book will be published this year!
