You'll be kissed by a rose in the end,

when that asteroid smacks into our homes again,

it brought even the dinosaurs to their eventual end,

but you'll be kissed by that rose in the wind.

It's a year that will never end,

when every dammed thing wants to kill us again,

we have covid that's here with no end,

you'll be kissed by a rose, my sweet friend.

We woke up to war again,

it's a subject we'll live with till the end.

Someone, please shove some dynamite in Putin's end,

We're in a hell we'll visit again and again.

There's no telling when this will all come to an end,

I could say screw it and hide out my friend.

We'll live our lives once again,

and I promise that I'll never bend.
