How to Paint with Light
If you're like me, you've dabbled in photography at an amateur level before. It's quite possible you may have heard about light painting. Despite gaining popularity in recent years light painting has been around for a while. The first recorded light painting picture was first taken in 1889 by Étienne-Jules Marey and Georges Demeny, and was achieved by strapping incandescent bulbs to the joints of an assistant.

20 Things to Consider to Start Your Photography Business
A real photographer can always use any camera. It does not matter if it is a full frame, mirrorless, analog (film), Polaroid, toy camera or even your smartphone. As long as it does the job (client's specification, size, usage, etc). You do not need to buy every equipment. You can always check if you can rent it before deciding if you really need to have it. You need to know how lighting benefits your work. Natural light or artificial (strobe or speedlight). Know what fill and bounce lights can do to your image. Photography is the process of capturing light after all. Photography is both a creative and a technical art. It is better to apply both. But if you are lacking in one, then try to collaborate or hire someone to fulfill that missing aspect. It is very beneficial to know basic business management, accounting, legal, and marketing. You can always hire people to do it for you, but as a business, it is already an expenditure. Having basic knowledge will make your business go a long way. Always edit your work. The RAW file contains a lot of information, but you may not like what it looks out of the camera. You can always enhance the sharpness, saturation, shadow details, or even the composition. Post-production is part of your style as a photographer. Consider making a portfolio. Try to be as cohesive as possible.

10 Ways to Take Great Pictures at Night
Nighttime is my time. It's when I come alive. It's when I can go out at night without worry that my aversion to the sun and the people that walk in it will force me back into my home. It's a time when party animals come out to play, where peoples' personalities seem to blossom, and most importantly, when the world just seems to glitter a little bit more beautifully under the glow of thousands of twinkling lights.

Stock Photography Tips
The market of stock photography is a business which can generate a constant income for a photographer. This doesn't mean that you'll leave aside other artistic projects. On the contrary, a constant income can give you the freedom to follow your dreams. Many think is quite easy to do stock photography, but the reality is different. Stock photography agencies need high-quality images and a certain perspective, which isn't always easy to achieve. You'll have to enhance photo quality by any means, and this can be expensive (for example, you may need studio equipment and lights). You'll also have to study in order to have your images approved, and this can be challenging.

10 Scrapbooking Tips for Newbies
I remember the first time I really laid my eyes on a scrapbook. Coming from a family that believed that "photos are private things," and that showing pictures of ourselves was strictly a low class thing, I never really had many photographs taken of me. My friend, who was raised in a similar manner, only had paintings and drawings of the family in rooms where guests were allowed.

Hiring a Professional Interior Design Photographer vs Doing It Yourself!
Good designs, layouts, furnishings etc. complement a space whether it’s a home or a commercial space. Good photography does the same. Snapshots and casual photography doesn’t qualify for that. Anybody can click a picture, but not everybody can click a high end image. Architectural photography requires skill and precision along with specialized knowledge. Not everybody can expertise in that matter. To be honest, the skills that serious interior design photographers possess, may take years to master, and that’s a lot of time for any XYZ individual such as a busy real estate professional.
