How do beginners learn photography?(3)

Imitation shoot period

3.1 Take good care of the photos and improve the cognition of beauty

So if you look at the cityscape, for example, if you search for cityscape, you get a lot of great pictures, so where did they go? Why are their drawings good? Needless to say, just take our picture and compare it, and you can see the difference between the two.

But in fact, what they have more than us is not so much advanced photography skills, but there is also something called experience summary.

The technical approach we use is nothing more than aperture shutter sensitivity, possibly with a manual white balance and timing shutter. But is the same camera why somebody else's photo so good-looking??

3.1.1 Split good photos and redefine photos

Here we use a method: tear down the image.

We get a relatively ok night scene of the city, what to do, not to comment on three times, but to seriously look at this photo.

Some students will ask to see what ah? Manic points? Sharpness?

"Time, parameters, Composition"

First of all, what time? We can see from the picture details on the right that the photo was taken at around 17:00 on December 24th, which is also the sunset time in winter. Why didn't we choose the completely dark 7:00? At 8 o 'clock?

Because the sky part should be blue, we should also avoid the over-exposure caused by the bright light on the ground, which will affect the final picture effect.

The blues scene that we're looking at is not something that can be seen or easily photographed from this Angle. Why?

The blues sky is blue, but when the clouds of fire end, it's dark, so there's a definite point "direction change". Normally, it's hard to get blues from our plane to the west, but it's easier to get blues from the plane to the east, because the clouds are still burning in the west, and the sky is blue in the east

And then, what are we going to see? Is if we're going to film:

We have parameters here. What does that tell us?

Which means you can't shoot with a 24-70 lens, because it's not wide enough to get in. At the same time, the screen parameters on the small aperture to ensure that the screen is clear, low sensitivity is to ensure the quality of the picture.

What about 10s? Deferring to the other two parameters, it is here the unimportant participating element described in 1.4 above.

When we actually take pictures, a picture can also help us find the plane, there is a person on the Internet relying on photos to find people? Nothing new:

We find the place, use the orientation of the building and its height to find its approximate position, which is roughly where the arrow would be, and then switch to the panoramic map

It's about this height right here, so we found this little rooftop in the mall.

This is what we can read from the picture.

It is not only the stair climbing film, but also the portrait, still life and so on. It is worth us to learn about its lighting color. There are answers in the picture, and you can read the picture carefully.

3.2 Learn photocopying

There are all kinds of great photos out there, so how do we learn from them? These are somebody else's, total cannot steal chart according to oneself ????

So here we have to figure out what's good about the picture?

Just Fell Asleep

What do we think of when we see this picture? The weather is interesting. "Sunset on a cloudy day" and "Windmill on sea Level" are very orderly.

Extreme weather I remember this key point, so I chose to get off the bus on a cloudy day in Lhasa, instead of the dark blue that always appears, and chose a cloudy day to make the photo more special.

It's not just the weather. Here are a few highlights:

Colors, people, special objects, cars, buildings, zebra crossings, billboards, roads …………

All kinds of objects can be important elements in our actual photography. When should we notice them? That's what we're actually going to learn:

Look for things we see in a picture: composition, content, color, and story. That we can learn by looking at pictures.

Don't assume that the scene won't work, and don't waste time on scenes that you can't do well. This is a paradoxical point that many people have problems with.

When is it time to keep exploring? When should you give up?

If you don't have a solution in your knowledge base, don't hesitate to shoot. It's not too late to come back if you have a new idea.

3.3⚠️ Problem feedback, summary

We've taken a lot of photos, so what's the difference between our photos and others? How can you make your photos look better? So here's the point:

We should compare our own photos with others' photos, and then summarize and conclude the problems

Once we know this information, what we need to do is much easier. We know what the problem is. Let's look at an example:

This is a picture I chose to shoot after I saw the theme of urban construction, but it turned over obviously in the end. What is the problem? Let's compare the success stories

What's the difference between the two? It is obvious that:

The contrast between the characters and the scene in the picture, the problems caused by the reflection of the glass material in the scene in the picture, and the high dynamic content caused by the large light ratio in the shooting time ………………

Then, after I made clear this problem, I made clear the problem in the second shooting: the scene should be clean, not random, the character color should be different from the scene (if the scene is really ok, the character can be colored), and the expression and action of the character should be grasped, so that the tension in the picture could be better highlighted.

Well, I have the solution to my problem. When we go to the actual shooting again, we can pay attention to these matters and identify our own problems.

This stage may seem simple, but it requires us to identify our problems, find them, and solve them.

I mentioned a word in cityscape above called "photography experience." Yes, your knowledge base is not just that, it's going to grow, it's going to grow. After we summarize and analyze the problems of each content, our photos will be better and better.
