Bailee Should Be Your Number One Candidate!

Bailee - She's The Goodest Girl

*Warning* You may very well be seeing the cutest and goodest girl this planet has to offer. This is basically just an excuse for me to show off how amazing my dog is. She's never done anything anyone would class as 'special', but she was special enough to win over all of our hearts.

This was the very first picture ever taken of Bailee. My friend Maddy was the first one to ever meet her, which is why this picture has her name on it. It was from her Snapchat. LOOK AT THAT LITTLE FACE!

Baby Bailee

My best friend Alice and I raised our dogs together so they'd know the importance of family while also still have some comfort of knowing another pup from their litter while adjusting to their new homes. We saw each other nearly everyday which means so did they.

Bailee (top) & Her Big Brother Sully (bottom)

Bailee is an Akbash x Rottweiler x Shephard mix. She had this beautiful coat of fluffy redish-golden fur. This is what originally caught our eye on her. As you can see from this photo, she loved her naps as a pup. Apparently peeing all over the house took a toll on her.

Bailee at maybe 3 or 4 months old

Even when Bailee started to get bigger (which was way too fast if you ask me) she still enjoyed her naps. Besides eating and cuddling, napping was and probably still is, her favourite thing.

Bailee at about 6 months

My goofy baby! She knows she steals the show.

She's a very photogenic dog. Here's her in her favourite bandana that she got from PupBox.

Posing for the camera

She's one of the only dogs I've met that loves to sleep like a human does. Head on the pillow and an arm around her. She needs to be as close as possible to you.

Bailee with her dad

What a quirky dog.

Sleepy Bailee

She loves hiding in her blankets. She's basically like a little kid.

Blue Riding Hood

She loves blankets so much she kept trying to steal ours so that white fluffy blanket was bought to be Bailee's special blanket. As you could tell she loved it.

Fluffy Bailee

From that point on, she was always in her fluffy blanket. We always have to tuck her in at night with that blanket.

Cuddling with mom

She loves animals of all shapes and sizes! Here's her with her best cat friend Indie. My other grey cat Lola is beside him. We own 3 cats and this cat was a street cat who likes to act like a dog and Bailee has taken to that.

Indie and Bailee

She's a very loyal girl. We can bring her to the park unleashed or have her free roam beside us and she never tries to split off or go somewhere else without us. You can tell she'd just prefer to always be beside us (Her separation anxiety also proves this point)

Smiling for the camera

Her favourite things in the world are sticks and balls (as you can tell from this photo). Dad is getting ready to throw something here and she is completely fixated on it.

Crazy Bailee

Chasing them balls

Action Shot

She also loves water, which is ironic because she almost drowned from trying to push herself as far as possible to get a stick.

The other half of that first water shot

When I found out I was pregnant, I had a suspicion because Bailee was starting to get super protective of me. She never barked at people before or had ever been mean but she was starting to become like that if people got too close to me etc.

Turns out it was because she was so in love with my daughter she just felt the need to be here protector. This was the first photo I ever got of them together and as much as you can see the unease of being around something so small and fragile in Bailee's eyes, you can also see the love she has for her.

Bailee and Callie

6 months later and she still does the same thing. Callie loves her puppy and Bailee loves her baby.

Callie and Bailee

As you can see for a regular dog, Bailee is pretty far from ordinary. She has brought light and happiness to everyone around her. Nothing about her is normal and that's what I love about her.
