There are always some cute little animals in life that make our otherwise dull lives a little more laughter or sadness ......
To tell you how I got involved with that puppy, I have to start with that evening.
That day, I was humming a little song and walking home happily. Suddenly, a weak, feeble bark came from the dog. I fixed my eyes, a poor little yellow dog appeared in front of me. Two small as if to squeeze into the flesh of the yellow ears, a pair of hungry and deep-set eye sockets, lined with a pair of onyx-like watery eyes, behind a short tail that was broken at some point.
I turned around in a hurry and prepared to take a detour home. You know, I've always had a strong rejection of dogs.
But to my surprise, the poor little thing ran up to me, wagging the thin and short half-tail, charmingly barking at me. Probably it wants me to give it some food. I thought as I walked home. I don't know why it wouldn't leave, but it continued to follow me dumbly.
The time passed, but it did not leave at all. I was so surprised that I had no choice but to buy a sausage for him. The way it eats is also unique, it first sniffs with its nose, then takes a bite slowly to make sure it's okay and then starts to gobble it up. I think it is too hungry, it eats very funnily, the cheeks on both sides of the mouth bulge, each time as if it takes much effort to pull off the sausage pieces of meat, do not need to chew, directly "gulp" swallowed into the stomach. I couldn't help but be amused by the funny look on his face. He barked at me as if to show his appreciation. I slowly became less annoyed with it.
For the next few weeks, I would pass by every day and bring some food. When he saw me, he was not as shy as before, he would do the samba to me in a friendly way, and sometimes he would rub himself on my leg a few times.
After a while, it and I had a tacit understanding.
This day, I almost cried in the toilet when I found out from my teacher that I was proud of having the worst science test ever. I spent the rest of the day in a trance.
When school was over, I passed by the road as usual. As soon as it saw me, it excitedly barked at me a few times. I hung my head and ignored it.
"Woof ......" it saw me ignoring it and kept circling me teasingly.
"Go away and leave me alone." My temper became violent and I kicked it away.
It was taken aback and let out a show of weakness and a mournful cry but continued to follow me.
I kicked it again, "I don't want to see you again!" I yelled. I lifted my foot and walked away, leaving the dog wailing with sadness and grief.
It was pouring rain that night, "clatter, clatter, clatter." The sound of the rain hit me right in the heart. I lay in bed thinking about it, thinking I shouldn't have treated the dog so roughly. I felt guilty and decided to look for him the next day.
The next day, I passed that road again, but the familiar barking sound did not come. I looked around, but the puppy had evaporated and was never seen again.
One day, two days ...... five days, the puppy did not appear. I asked the residents on the side, some said "taken", and some said, "I do not know where to go". I do not believe it, I think the puppy will not leave. For a while, I just felt empty in my heart, lost and confused.
After that, I never saw the yellow dog again.
I think there are some things to cherish when they exist, and when they are missed, they are gone ......
