Gorilla Held Underwater for 7 Days
A powerful gorilla struggles while tied underwater for a full week

Near a quiet river in a deep forest, there lived a large and strong gorilla. This gorilla was known to all the animals in the jungle because of its great strength and kind heart. It was peaceful and gentle, spending most of its days near the water, drinking, playing, and sometimes resting under the shade of big trees.
One day, some people from a nearby village came into the forest. They were afraid of the gorilla. They thought it was dangerous because of its size and power. The villagers decided to catch the gorilla and keep it away from their homes. So, they made strong, thick ropes and went to the river where the gorilla often came.
When they found the gorilla, they quickly tied its hands and feet with the ropes. The ropes were tight and strong, and the gorilla could not free itself. Then, the people pushed the gorilla into the river, tying it to a heavy stone at the bottom of the riverbed. The water was cold and clear, and the gorilla was trapped underwater, unable to swim away or reach the surface.
At first, the gorilla struggled hard to break free. It used all its strength to pull and push against the ropes. But the ropes did not break. The gorilla was strong, but the ropes were stronger. It realized that it could not escape quickly.
The gorilla stayed calm and waited. It knew it needed to save energy and be patient. Days passed, and the gorilla remained tied underwater. Small fish swam around it, and green plants moved gently with the water currents. The sunlight passed through the water, creating soft lights on the gorilla’s thick fur.
Even though the gorilla was trapped, it did not lose hope. It stayed quiet and patient, waiting for a chance to be free. Its strong heart kept beating, and it kept thinking about the forest and its friends.
Meanwhile, the villagers went back to their homes, thinking the gorilla was gone forever. But the gorilla was still alive, waiting under the water.
On the seventh day, a young boy came to the river to catch fish. He saw something moving near the bottom of the river. When he looked carefully, he saw the gorilla tied with ropes, struggling quietly. The boy felt sad and scared at first, but he quickly understood that the gorilla was in pain and needed help.
The boy ran back to the village and told everyone about the trapped gorilla. Some people wanted to leave it there, but the boy asked them to help rescue it. Together, they returned to the river with tools and knives.
The boy carefully cut the ropes around the gorilla’s hands and feet. The gorilla moved slowly at first, then stronger and stronger as it felt free. It looked at the boy with big eyes full of thanks. The boy smiled and told the gorilla it was safe now.
The gorilla slowly swam to the surface and climbed out of the water. It shook its wet fur and then slowly walked back into the forest. The villagers watched quietly, feeling respect for the strong and patient animal.
After that day, the boy and the gorilla became friends. The boy visited the forest often, and the gorilla welcomed him. The villagers also learned not to fear the gorilla but to respect and protect it.
This story teaches us that patience, hope, and kindness can save lives. Even when trapped in hard times, never give up. Strength comes from the heart, and true friends can help us when we need it most.
