Bird's Symphony

Way of living

By Vuyani MziniPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, in a forest far away, the birds were busy hustling about, their sound filling the air with a melody that was both soothing and invigorating. It was a beautiful morning, and the sun had just risen, casting a golden glow over the lush green trees and the sparkling stream that flowed through the forest.

The birds were going about their daily activities, hopping from one branch to another, chirping and singing as they searched for food and shelter. Each bird had its unique song, and together, their symphony created a beautiful harmony that echoed through the forest.

There was a family of blue jays who were busy building their nest. They flitted from tree to tree, collecting twigs and bits of moss, and bringing them back to their chosen spot to construct their home. The male jay would often pause in his work to let out a loud cry, warning other birds of their presence and asserting their territory.

At the same time, a pair of woodpeckers were busy drilling holes in a nearby tree. Their sharp beaks hammered away at the bark, sending wood chips flying as they searched for insects to feed their young. Their distinct knocking sound echoed through the forest, adding to the birds' symphony.

In a different part of the forest, a flock of sparrows was flitting about, searching for seeds and berries to eat. They chattered away as they moved, their tiny wings flapping rapidly to keep them aloft. They were constantly on the lookout for predators, darting away at the slightest sign of danger.

As the day wore on, the birds' activities changed. Some took to the skies, soaring high above the treetops, their wings catching the warm currents of air that rose from the forest floor. Others settled into their nests, their tired bodies seeking rest after a day of hustle and bustle.

But even as the sun began to set, the birds' symphony continued. Their songs changed, becoming more subdued and mellow, as they settled down for the night. And as the forest grew quiet, their sound remained, a gentle reminder of the beauty and wonder of the natural world.

As the days passed, the birds continued their way of life, their hustle and bustle a constant presence in the forest. They faced challenges, from predators to harsh weather conditions, but they persevered, adapting to their environment and finding ways to survive.

And as they went about their daily activities, their sound echoed through the forest, a beautiful and timeless melody that spoke of the wonders of nature and the beauty of life itself.

As the birds woke up each morning, their first order of business was to find food. They left their nests and set out into the forest, their empty stomachs driving them forward. Some birds looked for seeds and berries, while others searched for insects and small animals to eat.

As they went about their search, the birds would often chirp and call out to one another, sharing information about where food could be found. They worked together, flocking to areas where there was an abundance of food, and helping each other find what they needed to survive.

For some birds, finding food was a constant struggle, especially during times of drought or extreme weather conditions. But even in the toughest of times, the birds never lost hope. They continued to search, moving from place to place, driven by their instinct to survive.

And then, as if by some divine intervention, they would suddenly find what they were looking for. Maybe it was a field of ripe berries or a swarm of insects, but whatever it was, it always seemed to come at just the right time. The birds would descend upon the food source, their hunger driving them forward, and soon they would be full and satisfied.

It was as if the gods were looking out for them, providing for their needs and guiding them to the resources they needed to survive. And the birds, with their faith in the natural world and their trust in the divine, continued to thrive, their hustle and bustle a testament to the power of perseverance and the beauty of life.
