What to do when you are losing it.

Faster come-back techniques.

By Olalekan AdeekoPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

At different points and times in our lives, we all have been in this zoned out state. This is a state where nothing seems to be going the way you want or feel it should, or probably you just have gone through a very tiring relationship, and all you could ever think of is to leave or disappear from that place you are. Trust me when you are at the point of losing it nothing else matters, you don't seem to care about your environment, your next actions, or who might be affected by your decisions, all you will desire is to get all of your brains and if possible you wouldn't mind lifting your head and just placing it on the table staring at it. You seek for faster means to let of the stress and all out but you find out the more you want to try and wrap up your head to figure out a thing, the more it somewhat gets difficult to figure out, the funny thing is you will get more tired and worn out then it might lead to you behaving rationally, unleashing your anger on any innocent individual that crosses your path.

I have been in this situation countless times and i am sure you have been in such a zoned-out point or state as well, there is a solution to that, you don't need to snap out at any possible opportunity you get to do like before. The first step or first thing you can do to help in such a situation is to find a comfortable place to sit, sit where you can focus on yourself and not other annoying things around, once that is done you are on your way to getting yourself back to your best all you need to do is just sit and be calm.

You might be wondering or asking questions like what next? Now i am sitting, and i'm calm focusing on myself. The next thing you have to do is run a breathing technique, why do i mean by that, all you need to do now is to breathe in and out; breath in then breath out, you can go ahead and do that consecutively up to 5 or 6 times. Doing this will help you calm your nerves and it starts reviving you back to your normal state of being, you don't have to rush while breathing, you can take ample time doing that 5 to 6 times.

Now you must have been feeling a sense of relief and also calmness. The next thing for you to do is to get your mind to think of the things you do that make you happy, you will find yourself smiling or laughing at this point depending on what makes you happy. Once that picture and happiness are created you can as well stand up and take a step to do that happy thought yours, what do i mean by this, if you derive happiness from watching movies go ahead and do that, if you derive happiness from playing games go ahead and play that game, yours might just be seeing kids do and perform their amazing characters, drive to a park, or garden or wherever you can get that and be happy.

Oh mine even while writing i am here smiling because i know someone somewhere is actually smiling reading this, the last thing you can do to and for yourself is to hang out with the people you love. You will totally forget how bad you were some few minutes or hours ago.

Remember happiness is free, always choose to be happy and stay happy at all times. So if you are losing it or you are on the verge of losing it, or maybe you have lost it and you are reading this endeavor to do that which is in here and you will experience a fast comeback to your real self and state.
