During these trying times I ask myself constantly, what if everyone could be happy? There was no struggle, sadness, or worry. How can we survive at this pace?
Again, I ask, what if we could live in a world of happiness, joy, fun, and excitement? It would be amazing. Love would be in the air, people could live day by day happy. Creators would create, musicians would be able to write more, and sing. Artisans would create more art, delicious foods, and etc.
I create my own happiness, but I am not going to lie when you live check by check, and not knowing what tomorrow brings it is tough. I am a creator, musician, singer, and writer, but sometimes it is hard to create when I am drained out from not knowing, being overworked, and worried. I try to imagine myself in a place that is happy all the time. Through my own trainings I always look at the good in people, and trying times. I have to admit in this horrific economy, it is a struggle.
Does this make sense? On average in Boston, MA. some people are making over $100K, and the rest are making under $50K? The price of a single room apartment in a low income area is $2300 a month. Let's do the math. Would a person making $50K be able to afford an apartment that is clearing $2200 monthly after taxes? Really!!!! Not everyone even makes that. So how does this make sense?
People who are happy are more engaged, connected, and prosper. All of these create a happier place for all. What would it be like to go outside of your home, see the world full of color, aliveness, and hear the sounds of joy? Instead of gun shots, sirens, and stillness. I would love to wake up and not have to struggle financially. Go on trips, go shopping whenever I want, and maybe get a makeover. The world would be full of possibilities.
Believe it or not struggling affects your decision making, affects people mentally, and physically. When you are constantly worrying, am I going to have a job, am I going to be able to afford living in general, will I ever make what I am worth, or what is going to happen next? All of these worries combined are not good. There are many people struggling , not just me.
No!!! I did not want this article to be negative, but I am making a point. Things have to change for everyone. We need to be able to afford living, creating, and evolving.
Being a Reiki Practitioner I work with energies. I also have had reiki done on me. Basically, when you lay down it is a good idea to imagine a place of happiness, where you feel safe, happy, and at peace. Honestly, my place is so simple. When I imagine a place it is a place of calmness by the water. While the person is in their happy place mentally the energy work starts. Your energies respond well when at peace. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that involves the flow energies to promote well-being.
I am including reiki, because that is how our cells, emotions, and energy works. When you are happy they respond well, and when you are worrying or sad they do not respond well. I highly recommend everyone check out the book or video, The Hidden Messages in Water written by Masaru Emoto. In the video it shows how water crystals form to different tones. This is also how we respond to things going in our lives.
What if everyone imagined themselves in their happy place daily? What do you think the result would be? I am sure it would be better than everyone being angry all the time.
Let all of us as a whole try to make this world, our world, and for others who cannot a happier place.
