The Tiger and The Cat
Tiger was proud of his strength, while Cat believed in wisdom.

Deep inside a lush green forest, there lived two animals who were very different from each other—Tiger and Cat.
Tiger was strong, fierce, and proud of his immense power. His roars could shake the trees, and his presence alone made the other animals tremble with fear. Cat, on the other hand, was small, quick, and wise. Though she wasn’t physically powerful, she was clever and full of patience.
One sunny afternoon, as Tiger was strolling through the forest, he spotted Cat sitting calmly under a tree, grooming her fur. Amused by her delicate behavior, Tiger walked up to her with a sly smile.
"Look at you, little Cat," Tiger said boastfully, "You are so tiny and fragile. In this big, wild jungle, I am the king! Everyone fears me, and you? You're just... cute."
Cat looked up and smiled politely. She wasn't offended, nor did she feel the need to argue.
Instead, she replied gently, "Dear Tiger, strength is important, but it's not everything. Sometimes, intelligence and patience can achieve what raw power cannot."
Tiger let out a loud, mocking laugh.
"Ha! Intelligence? What can cleverness do when a fight breaks out? Only strength matters here!"
Cat simply nodded and went back to grooming herself, while Tiger walked away, still chuckling at what he thought was foolish advice.
But destiny had a lesson in store for Tiger.
Later that day, as Tiger wandered deeper into the jungle, he didn’t notice a trap that hunters had set. Before he could even react, he stepped into a net that sprang up around him. The strong ropes tightened as he struggled, and the more he fought, the more entangled he became.
Tiger roared with all his might. His earth-shaking calls echoed through the jungle, but the net was made of thick ropes, specially designed to capture even a beast like him. No amount of strength could break it.
Nearby, Cat heard his desperate roars. Without hesitation, she ran towards the sound. When she arrived, she saw the mighty Tiger—who once boasted about his strength—trapped helplessly like a cub.
Tiger looked at her with pleading eyes.
"Please, Cat, help me!" he roared, his voice filled with panic and shame.
Cat nodded calmly. She examined the trap carefully and quickly spotted a solution. With her sharp little teeth and nimble movements, she began to gnaw at the ropes. Her size, which once seemed like a weakness, now became her strength. She was small enough to move around the ropes and clever enough to know exactly where to cut.
Slowly but surely, Cat chewed through the ropes at the right spots. It was tiring, but Cat was patient and determined. Finally, after what seemed like hours, the last rope snapped, and Tiger was free.
Tiger stepped out of the trap and shook himself, finally breathing freely again. He looked at Cat with deep gratitude and humility.
"I was wrong," Tiger said, bowing his head. "I thought strength was everything. But today, your cleverness, your patience, and your heart saved me. I owe you my life."
Cat smiled warmly and replied, "Never underestimate someone because of their size or appearance. Every creature has its own strengths. Sometimes, wisdom and kindness can be stronger than muscles."
From that day forward, Tiger changed. He no longer boasted about his strength, and he treated every creature with respect, no matter how big or small. He and Cat became great friends, and their bond became famous throughout the jungle.
The other animals were amazed to see the proud Tiger walking side by side with the humble Cat.
Whenever young animals asked them how they became friends, Tiger would smile and say,
"Never judge anyone by how they look. True strength comes from wisdom, kindness, and the courage to help others."
And the jungle became a happier, safer place because the strongest understood the value of the smallest.
Moral of the Story:
Never underestimate anyone based on their size, strength, or appearance. Everyone has unique strengths, and sometimes, patience, intelligence, and kindness are more powerful than physical strength.
