“What is the secret power of having a strong personality? Is there such a thing like this? If so, what is it? How to unlock the power of one’s  strong personality? If one has a weak personality is there ways to develop and acquire this power?”

I know it sounds crazy right? But maybe not either. The power I am meaning to explain is not a fictional or magical one. What I meant about  using the word “power” is "strength." One  who has a strong personality can have the strength to achieve anything they want to accomplish in life. Personally, I can’t avoid some negativity from other people but if learning and knowing exactly what to do to lessen the bad effect of it to us,  one is able to carry on. I am going to share what works for me and what I learned from my personal experience on how I was able to overcome my own weaknesses and be able  to develop my personality to be strong and be proud of myself.

First of all, I was not a good listener myself and I ignored a lot of good advice from the people who had more experience than me. True that everyone’s path isn't the same but there were pointers that were given to me that I neglected and later realized I could have used as references to know what I should do and should not do. So after trying some trials and errors on anything that I do, I have learned that I have to be a good “listener.” After doing so, I try to engage with other people who have the same interest as me and even did expand my own interest, not just focusing on my own interest in life. I spend more time reading about other things like how to start thinking about business ideas, how to improve my finances and budgeting, more about how to understand psychology, philosophy, astronomy, and understanding human life and it’s environment. Those are just some of the things I am really into and now how to write essays on blogs to share what I have learned.

Engaging myself in intellectual conversations with people I met was also a good thing to exchange knowledge about things that I may not know about and I share what I know. I wasn't good at cooking or baking and I felt like it takes a lot of time to prepare everything you need to start baking or cooking something. But I started following those people on Instagram who share the ingredients and even show the steps to do it and I was thinking I should improve my weak skills and I started to learn how to cook and bake. Guess what, I can cook and bake my favorite foods now. After that, I started liking something that I never expect to like. I learned from those people who share their knowledge in cooking and baking and this is one of the examples I can give you. So start engaging in interesting conversations with people who can give you tips and ideas on improving yourself on something that interests you. Developing your personality also requires self-discipline.

Next, I should say be yourself when you meet new people and give your own opinion on any conversation that you are having with anyone. Everyone has different opinions and perspectives in anything. Sharing your opinions even though it’s totally different from the others is totally okay. They may agree or not but at least you know you are just being yourself and sharing your own understanding about whatever topic the group is discussing. You share your thoughts for them to consider and knowing their opinions also will help you consider other possibilities besides what you are thinking. I am being open to other people’s perspectives and I learned to respect them and it just felt amazing for me to know something from someone. It is not just building my own confidence but also it did help me develop my personality to be more knowledgeable.

Another thing is, I taught myself how to have a positive attitude and think about the possible positive outcome despite having circumstances that involve negative people who like to complain and sometimes who could drain every positive energy that I have in myself. I learned to smile and keep my own energy from being absorbed by negativity. I try to give some cheers and if it still keeps on going, I give myself a break to take that negative thought and feelings towards people or situations. I learned to improve my own patience and understanding to protect and to give strength to my personality. I know everyday I have to learn new things to get better and better and of course, I let myself have fun and appreciate a simple and peaceful life. To have an integrity to respect others and do the right thing even if no one is looking, I am proud to know that I possess the secret power of how to live my life right and how to cherish the people and the things that I have by having a strong personality deep inside of me. My peace is my wealth.

Without investing time and effort, you can't achieve anything. Change the way you think and start over again. It's never too late... Being successful in life is not just having a lot of money. Rather how you would make use of your life to achieve your own happiness in life. Do not stop learning and improving your own personality. Because having a strong personality is like having a power to conquer the quests in life. Wishing you happiness in life!
