The Only Manifesting Technique You Need - SATS
"… Imagination is the very gateway of reality …" - Neville Goddard

When I was a freshman in high school I read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, and that was the moment I became aware of the Law of Attraction. I wasn't well versed in LOA stuff considering that was the only book I read about it, and let me say that I was a slight skeptic at first. As I continually read each page I got sucked into the idea that I could have anything I want, but then my logical mind would come in and be like how is that even possible? How does positive thinking lead me to something I want? Well I was wrong. I tested it out with my end of the year grades for freshman year, and I came out strong with all A's - I will say two of my classes I had a B+, and there was absolutely no way I could think that I could get to an A before finals. Before I knew it I logged on to my grade portal and saw I had an A in both classes 2 days before finals, so I was exempt from the exam. I was mind blown that this worked, and from eight years ago to now I am still convinced that you can create your reality.
Just like any novel person learning about the LOA I was always finding ways to "speed up" what I want, or trying to find the "best" techniques out there. My teen mind was always racing online to get different opinions, and read more success stories to soothe the occasional doubt I might have if I was thinking my desire was "unattainable." I read book after book, and the more I read other people's opinions I never felt satisfied or motivated to use the LOA - not sure where that came from, but maybe it was the fact that I might read conflicting opinions about the law or just read too much about it that it was just getting repetitive.

When I got into university I came across Neville Goddard, and I had bought his complete reader collection on Kindle. By no means is Neville's books an easy read, but his books are very insightful and an interesting take on how to understand the law. Even though each book is different the one thing that stays consistent is his technique that he utilizes to manifest desires - SATS (State Akin to Sleep).
What is SATS? It's entering a meditative or self-hypnotic state before you go to sleep where you will envision what you desire. The purpose of this technique is to help you feel what you would feel as if you had your desire right now.
The goal with SATS is that you create a short scene where you have your desire, and you repeat the same scene every night until the feeling is fulfilled for you. The best visualizations are ones that utilize all the senses so that it feels like you are living it - Neville does mention that you should see this through your eyes when you are playing out your scene, but I have done this both ways by watching through my own eyes and watching myself receive my desire.
I remember for my first part-time job I used the SATS technique to secure a spot, because there were a lot of applicants who were applying as well. I envisioned every night while I was drifting asleep of me working at the same location I applied for - there were multiple locations available for this job, but I wanted this specific location because of the hours/days they were offering. About a week later I got called in for an interview and was hired on the spot.
"Feeling is the secret." - Neville Goddard
To clear up some misconceptions up you don't have to be an expert at visualization. Once you feel what it would feel like to have your desire in your life then you are doing it correctly. Don't second guess yourself and ask yourself if you messed up while visualizing, because that defeats the purpose of the technique.
What I learned over the years from using SATS is that it has never failed me, I can create my reality, and that manifesting is meant to be effortless. You don't need to force yourself to do all of these "advanced" techniques just to get what you want. I also learned that everyone is also on their journey when it comes to using SATS and just the LOA in general, so I don't need to compare myself to others when they talk about what they do to receive their desire or whatever the situation might be.
