The Life with Purpose

Today's world has so many different thoughts on purpose. One thinks purpose is getting their dream job the other says being a new mom is their purpose and that they will never be the same. I am here to talk about what makes you find your purpose. Does your purpose find you? Or do you go searching for purpose in everything you do? Helping someone may make you feel purpose or donating to a good cause. Finding purpose seems to be the only thing that makes a person grow and let go of any other thing in the world. Let's talk about what the definition of purpose means. Purpose: the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. Wow! That is powerful and beautiful. Being a good friend might give you purpose or taking care of your little sister when your mom is at work. Having a job or being a stay at home mom.

When we all think of purpose we think of all of the things that make us who we are. As people, we are created to find things in our life that make us happy. When we don't have that we feel sad, depressed, discouraged and even lonely. This type of place can make us feel worthless or not needed. We even like to compare ourselves to others lives on and off of social media, thinking "WOW! Look how successful they are! or Oh my gosh did you see how beautiful her life looks!" All of these are because we are not fulfilled with finding our own purpose in our own lives. When we compare ourselves to others we find something that person has that we want. We should really be looking at what we have and want in our future. Isn't life full of purpose if we look at it with clear vision? I think so! We see all of creation every day, green grass, birds flying above us, little small insects that we could crush with one foot because they are so small, yet they have family and still strive to survive day to day in the heat and snowy weather. Animals are able to feed us, plants are able to nurture us. Honey bees make honey for us to eat and sell in the market. Everything has purpose yet most of us live without it. Why? Why are some people afraid of having purpose? Women were made to be mother's and men father's. Cows were made to provide us milk and butter.. that very butter that you put on your toast in the morning. There is a purpose for everything in this world. You and I have purpose we just have to find it, or sometimes let it find us.

"God has allowed suffering, even purposed it". Whether you believe in God or not, he created you for a purpose. So don't lose hope. To live and find what you love is a precious gift. When you wake up it is a gift, a gift to live another day. Your life is precious. We all have purpose and meaning to why we are here. As I come to a close I wanted to talk about this because it is near and dear to my heart. I struggle to find purpose in my life at the moment which lead me to want to share the deep urge of purpose I want for my life and I know that God has designed for my life. Keep being yourself no matter what, have faith, keep striving to do your best and please do not give up. Purpose may just be waiting right around the corner.
