The Best Ogran

In an Arab land, a Caliph ruled with hundreds of slaves. Among them, he favored one, keeping him close and entrusting him with greater responsibilities. Seeing this, the other slaves grew jealous.

Over time, the Caliph learned about their resentment. He thought, They are foolish. They dont realize how wise he is. He is not meant to be a slave but a counselor. I must show them the difference between him and them.

One day, the Caliph gathered all the slaves except his favored one and said, You seem troubled because I give him special attention. Is that true

Hearing this, the slaves froze in fear. No one dared to speak before the Caliph. They stood with their heads lowered, their hearts pounding, fearing harsh punishment.

Seeing their silence, the Caliph said, I will ask you a question. If you answer correctly, I will set you free.

Their fate now rested on their answer.

The Caliph asked, Which is the best and worst organ of the human body

The slaves responded in unison, The hands, for they serve you.

Then, which is the worst organ

This time, silence filled the air. All organs serve a purpose, but which one is the worst The slaves pondered deeply.

After a moment, the Caliph said, It seems you have no answer.

He then ordered his favored slave to be brought forth.

When the slave arrived, the Caliph repeated his question, Which is the best organ of the body

The slave confidently replied, The tongue, my lord.

And the worst organ

The tongue as well, my lord.

The court was shocked. The Caliph had always praised his wisdom, yet he claimed the tongue was both the best and the worst organ. Surely, the Caliph would punish him for such an answer.

After a brief silence, the Caliph asked, Did you understand my question correctly

Yes, my lord.

Then explain. How can the tongue be both the best and the worst organ

Yes, my lord.

Then speak. But beware if your explanation does not satisfy me, you will face death.

The other slaves were thrilled, thinking this was his end.

But the slave, full of confidence, said, O Majesty The tongue is the best organ because, with sweet words, it wins hearts, earns rewards, and turns strangers into friends. Even an unattractive person is seen as beautiful if their words are kind and wise. That is why I say the tongue is the best organ.

But if the same tongue is used poorly, it turns friends into enemies, spreads hatred, and destroys relationships. That is why it is also the worst organ.

Hearing this, the Caliph smiled and said, This is why he is different from you all.

A wise king ruled over a vast kingdom. One day, he gathered his courtiers and asked, Which organ of the body is the best

One minister said, The eyes, for they help us see beauty. Another said, The hands, for they allow us to work. A third said, The heart, for it keeps us alive.

The king then turned to his most trusted advisor and asked, What do you think

The advisor smiled and replied, The tongue, my king.

The courtiers laughed. The tongue It does nothing but talk

The advisor continued, The tongue can build friendships or destroy them. It can bring peace or start wars. A kind word can heal a heart, but a harsh one can break it. The tongue holds great power.

The king nodded. You are right. Words shape the world. Indeed, the tongue is the best organ.
