A Purpose In A Poisoned Culture
As I venture into Vocal's writing challenges, I found one titled, "Create Your Happiness". As I read over the requirements, I find they're looking for a story of our favourite to-do's, scissor crafts and Art projects. Being a mother of 4, I figure this should be simple enough! I spent weeks trying to focus on these things and come up with something fun and engaging that others could replicate or appreciate. As the timeline for this challenge begins to draw to an end, I realized, I'm just not that shallow anymore. Happiness, for me, runs much deeper than any hobby could uncover.

Passion Through Pollination
Somedays I wish I could drop it. If I dropped the biggest obsession of my being, then maybe I would have been higher ranked in the corporate society. Would I then have the riches to life? I mean I’d surely have enough money to live comfortably but how comfortable can you be when your life feels like an endless hamster wheel? For that very reason I cannot rest until my passion for creative liberation is expressed to the fullest.

Writing and When Inspiration Strikes
Every November since 2002, I have participated in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). The goal is simple: write 50,000 words in thirty days, and it’s the quantity, not the quality that matters. Other than bragging rights, what do I win? Nothing, except the knowledge I finished a goal I set for myself. As the years have gone by, I am met with a new challenge to NaNoWriMo: What story am I going to write this year?

Isaac Newton:
When Newton was born, his mother named the newborn Isaac Newton in memory of her late husband. On January 4, 1643, a weak and sick child was born to a poor farmer in Lancashire, England. His father had died three months before his birth. His father's name was Isaac Newton. "When Newton was born, his mother named his newborn baby Isaac Newton in memory of her late husband. When Newton was three years old, his mother remarried," said Newton's stepfather. Did not like Seeing this situation, her mother sent Newton to live with her grandparents and moved in with her own husband.

Benefits of a Paper Rose
1. It will never die. Origami is back-breaking work. You pour not only time and effort into this project, but you pour your very soul into the curls and folds of fragile pieces of paper. From the well-measured cuts to the messy glue work, you can rest assured that your hard work will take much longer to decompose than a regular rose would.

Turning My Passion Into Revenue in a Perfect World
My creative beginnings Growing up I was never interested in being a creator. I preferred dealing with numbers and majored in finance where my day job had no need for a creative side. What then sparked my interest in creative endeavors?

Creating Fluff Brings Me JOY
Growing up plus size, I never really had to many people on TV that looked like me. I also dressed in mainly men's clothes because the options for plus size girls was just ugly. I use to sketch designs and wanted to create a plus size line when I was younger. Fast forward to 2015 the birth of My Beautiful Fluff. I came into this world fluffy and when I started a business I kept it fluffy. My Beautiful Fluff believes in creating images of plus size women, natural hair and promoting loving your body the way it is. I spent many years of my life on miserable fad diets, taking pills, limiting my calories to be like everyone else. I realized that my weight was never an issue it was listening to other people feeling that I wasn't enough and to fit in I needed to shrink. Learning to love my natural hair, my rolls and stretch marks lead me on a journey to create a business to pour body positivity into others.

What the Tuft?!. Top Story - June 2021.
From childhood I have always been immersed in art. Any chance I could get, I would try a new way to create. Eventually I found a love for sewing in high school and with that passion I started designing clothing with the intention to go to school for fashion design. Unfortunately that didn't quite work out as my interest in fashion was so broad that I felt I needed to have more experiences than my college could provide. I began working in retail, studying cosmetology, studying graphic design, and studying the world always with how things translate into a more tactile art. I love textures and sculptural fashion more than anything.
