In The End He Was Trapped With His Demons But Still He Come Out On Top
I woke this morning, early, excited for the day, not for me but for my oldest son. Today was all trial and tribulation but I was sure he would come out the other side, a stronger more confident man who realised, in the space of 5 hours, 18 minutes and 54 second, that he was totally capable of, not only facing his demons but coming out on top in a truly glorious manner.

Traits That Are Common To Billionaires. Do You Have Them?
Making decisions. Many people do not want to notice reality if it does not match their expectations. This is bad, because it is more important to understand exactly negative tendencies and react to them, and you can simply observe good events.

The Mentor Who Changed My Life by Building My Confidence
I am so fortunate that throughout my life, I have had countless mentors who have guided me through the various stages we all go through in life. My first mentor helped me settle on what I thought would be my forever career and what I needed to do to get there. Another mentor showed me the ropes in my new city while connecting me to industry big-wigs who were immensely helpful when I was looking for work.

Love Letters to the Great Unknown
Oh, Dear. Oh, Love. Oh, Light of My Day. Very smart people doing Smart People Things™ say that the average number of thoughts a brain produces in a day is somewhere around 6,200. I, with my anxious brain, will lay claim to a higher number, if only for reasons that will come to light as you continue to indulge me in this, a glorious quest for endorphins through words. On this, I proclaim that my brain, within which you occupy space, experiences the delightfully plump number of eight thousand, seven hundred, and fifty two thoughts per day, and nine thousand, one hundred, and four thoughts on days when sleep comes far later than I’d probably like.

Is consistency really the only key to success?!
Since this whole pandemic started I have been wondering how to find success in this new and chaotic world. I did what everyone would have done and started Google-ing side hustle ideas and opportunities, one of them was starting a YouTube channel. I always wanted to try it out and I have seen many people on the internet who has succeeded with it already, so why not try it out. As you probably assume, I went on searching for what it takes to become successful on YouTube, believe me there are many many videos on YouTube about being a YouTuber. When I mean many, I really mean it. Some of them said to have a niche, the other said not to. The only thing that they all have been agreeing on was that you have to be consistent. Basically no matter what you are talking about on your channel, if you do it consistently, than you will see success. Easy, right?!

The “Yes I Can” Attitude Attitude is everything in life. Your attitude will make you or break you. It is the most influential voice you hold. Your attitude will either amplify your ability to succeed or it will DIM your LIGHT.

How I fell back in love with reading
I look back fondly on the years as a kid when I used to reach for a book with ease. No phones, no games consoles, limited tv time. Sitting on my beanbag and read for hours. Pure bliss. This was of course short-lived. The older I got, the less I read. Life got busy, I was studying more, I couldn’t find books I liked… sound familiar to your own story?

Running Away With the Circus
A few days before my 50th birthday, I received a traumatic brain injury. At the time, I was a long-distance runner, and sports had always helped me keep my life-long depression at bay. But depression after a brain injury is much more finicky and severe, and I needed something new in my life.

My First Day of NaNoWriMo
It’s Officially NaNoWriMo Aka, “National Novel Writing Month” By joining a community on vocal, I found this wonderful non-profit that globally promotes creative writing. Every November, they host a writing month where users are encouraged to write 50,000 words in 30 days. For most people, this is an overwhelming goal. But for some people, it is just the push they need.
