What Does Freedom Mean to me?
What Does Freedom Mean to me? Let me rephrase that opener. What does air mean to me? What does food mean to me? What does happiness mean to me? They all have the same answer. It means everything to me. you might as well ask me what would I do for to leave without freedom is to wait on death to happen upon you and hope he is kinder than bondage. I cannot explain in exact terms what means to me is but I know I could never give it for all the money in the world. You know why that is because I have been trapped. I have been helpless, I have been crazy with a desperation that made me bite my nails until I tasted blood. You ask what freedom is. It is the ability to know who you are and know with all heavenly conviction that you are not owned by anyone. Your word is our word and your truth is never crafted. It is the simple ability to be for being sake and for nothing else.

One day, a lioness died while giving birth to a cub. At the time, a herd of sheep was passing by the lion cub, joining them accidentally. The sheep also taught him to be part of their herd. And so, the cub was brought up by sheep. And while living with the sheep, the lion cub believed him to be a sheep. Since he was growing up among sheep. Therefore, it was natural for him to live like a Sheep. He was living with Sheep. He believed that he was a Sheep. He became a vegetarian and started eating grass with great joy. He had no conception of what a lion was. He had no idea, not even in his dreams, that he was a lion. How could he have? All around him were but sheep and only sheep. He had never roared like a lion. He had never been alone like a lion. With the passage of time, the cub started growing up. He became a beautiful young lion. The sheep became accustomed to him, just as he became accustomed to the sheep.
