Your Karma Will Make You fortunate
When something does not turn out the way we want it to, we attribute it to bad luck; on the other hand, when something that we want does turn out the way we want it to, we attribute it to good luck. But the fundamental issue is whether or not any of us really have any influence over our own good fortune.

Apologizing to my Chakras
I was humbled by my own body. After an intense session at the gym, I like to finish by meditating and allowing my body to calm and cool before heading to our next adventure; I've been mentally tired , mentally unable to balance my emotions, and so as I quieted my mind, on a child's pose, I focused on my root chakra: I softly let out an "I am sorry", what I meant to say was "Thank you".

High School Days
I remember being in high school, I was always different. Honestly, I can think back to middle school it was the same way. I was picked on for not having name brand clothes, for being shy, for not doing what the "popular kids" did. I grew up with both parents in the home, my father went to work every day and watched us get on the bus every morning before he went to work. My mom was home every day when we came home. We may not have had the "name brands' but we had a home, lights, running water, a hot meal every day, food in the pantry, etc. My parents balanced taken care of the home and providing for their three children that lived in the home and one that was grown and continued to come by for food, groceries, and to drop off her children to be watched. I remember being picked on in the hallways and in the classroom especially in middle school. I had what old school would consider a little shape as I began to age.

The Possibilities of Uncertainty
I quit my job. Finally. I'd been saying the job was temporary for at least two years, and yet I did nothing about it, I didn't look for anything else, I didn't apply for anything - hell, I barely let myself even dream about doing what I wanted to. I was afraid I guess. And stuck. I felt that I had responsibilities to uphold, loyalties to adhere to, in fact looking back I'm pretty certain I invented a plethora of reasons I couldn't leave in order to hide how afraid I was of failing (as failure seems to be the one thing constant in my life - and I guess the thought of another failure was unbearable). Well guess what... you could say that I have failed again. It doesn't feel that way though.
