10 Things I Wish I Knew at 20 Years Old
I'm writing this story because tomorrow I will be 29 years old and I will be at the point of no return, where it will be my last year being in the 20s. How do people feel when they're at their 20s? Rebellion? Freedom? Away from parents after they hound at us with knowledge and a lot of care (ex. Yelling at things that we shouldn't do or life advice and stories that we must take action on for our path to choose). For me, I was the kind of person where I let the nature of my emotions and the circumstances flow through as time went by. With that said, here are 10 things I wish I knew when I was at 20 years old.Note: You can watch my content video while reading this story. It's best to hear it as you read along.

Finding My Self-Worth
The last six months or so have been one hell of a whirlwind journey for me. For some reason the universe decided to send me a wake up call of sorts. It wasn't until six months ago that I realized that I had fallen out of love with myself years ago. I hated the way I looked. I didn't believe people when they would compliment me or say good things about me. I always just thought that I was being humble once it came to that.

That A-Ha! Moment
You know those moments when you're entirely focused on one thing and then your brain suddenly yells, "Eureka!" about something totally different?! It's the realization you've been waiting for and of course it comes when you least expect it and sometimes when you aren't in a moment to process it either. In today's time, we all want so badly to be able to figure things out on our own, to find that instant gratification in whatever it is we're pursuing. But, sometimes that's not what the path life has planned for us. Sometimes we need someone on the outside put in our path to hear our story and be able to put their wisdom to use.

Be Real with Yourself
A month ago I turned 22. I couldn't help but feel like I was running out of time and I hadn't accomplished anything; just like everyone, I have goals that I would like to achieve. There's no doubt in my mind that I can get it done. The question is: Why am I not where I want to be in life? The answer is straightforward: I'M LAZY. That, my friend, is changing. I'm getting my shit together.

10 Tips for a Happier, Stress-Free Lifestyle
Here are 10 things that can help to reduce your stress and help you live a happier lifestyle. 1. Eat a healthier diet. Eating healthy is one way that can assist you in living a more stress-free lifestyle. The foods we eat affect how we feel and when the body is under stressful situations we need healthy eating habits to help fight the urge to stress eat. When people are feeling stress the body produces excess cortisol, a hormone made by the adrenal gland. This hormone causes the body’s sugar levels to decrease which in turn causes the body to crave sugary snacks. Experts from UCLA Health explain how a nutritious diet can work to offset stress on the body by helping the immune system, energize the body, and stabilize blood pressure.
