happiness
Happiness, defined; things that help you find happiness, keep it, and share it with others.
Stop Comparing Yourself to Others
I think we've all fallen into the trap of thinking someone else has something better than us, that they're happier than us or that we need to be more like them. Comparing your life to someone else's is unfair and a complete waste of energy. You've lived different lives, and comparing yourself to them or having negative feelings around the fact that they seem to have more or better things than you, is totally unjustified. You can use them as motivation to achieve something, but don't put yourself down because you don't currently have the specific things they have.

How Self Care at Home Can Make You Happy
Practicing self-care at home will make you feel happy and what you have to do is simple. By taking better care of your body, mind, and soul, you welcome positive change in your life at all levels. True happiness is not a destination, but a process, and self-care offers you the key to access it. Whether it’s about drowning the day’s worries in an endless hot bath, caressing your beloved pet, or just opening the windows to let the fresh air in early in the morning, we all know how it feels to be happy.

Finding ME, again...
Sooooo, I’ve been doing a thing! Since we started watching Grace & Frankie on Netflix, I noticed that Frankie did a vlog & Grace eventually did one, it seemed weird at first but I've done a few of them this week, not posting them anywhere but just as a therapy sesh for myself to vent & process my thoughts & honestly it's not just cool, it's so relieving to get stuff out & not have to pay a therapist for it either. If anyone is going through a rough patch like I was, I definitely recommend it, you won't be sorry.

May Flowers
For the past month, I’ve been watching the seasons change from my bedroom window. The grass has gone from yellow on a good day to bright shades of green, the streets from grey and empty to full of color and life as mothers and fathers push strollers and yell to each other from six feet apart. Their attire has changed too, from women in down coats and boots to now tank tops and shorts, children now in sundresses and baseball caps. Leaves have begun growing on trees and flowers have bloomed into beautiful shades of pink and blue and red. An aura of newfound respect and awareness of others has also pervaded the streets, as people finally move aside for one another, lending each other space on the sidewalk. And I’ve watched it all, morning after morning, from the quiet confines of my bedroom window as sleep dances on my eyes. I’ve taken part in it too, sometimes, putting on my sneakers and going for a walk outside. Getting hellos from neighbors and policemen that I never got before.

Quarantine life update
It's really important we relearn the art in resting and relaxing Man has 2020 been a wild ride... I started this year off the same as I am sure the rest of you did. You know the BIG New Year Resolutions and a plan of how you will RULE the year, take that trip of a lifetime, or cross things off your bucket list... However the switch was flipped!! Like many of us, we are sitting at home wondering what the next step is or when the world will go back of normal while on the other hand we still have people fighting for everyone's safety day to day. Being considered an essential worker myself and being put on lockdown I want to give the biggest thank you to those who continued on despite the fear and risks! Aside from our medical teams I want to personally thank anyone who has worked to keep our stores clean, families fed, and even those of you who have helped create shelters for those in high need. WE ALL THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND GRACIOUSNESS TO CONTINUE TO SERVE OTHERS FIRST NO MATTER WHAT YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION IS.

Kissing Las Vegas
When the downtown of my city opens again I will take my friends or companions and we will follow the night to where the wind blows! Wether it be a spontaneous adventure to The Strip, Fremont Street, a complementary show at a nightclub, or a view with music of the Bellagio Fountains and taking selfies with costumed strangers. With the different possibilities in the air we won’t need a mask for, we will see the life in and outside of the casinos again as it was before COVID19 and follow what the nightlife has to offer us.

Day One
I'm familiar with the way a single life moves in cycles. I've watched mine start and stop multiple times. Sometimes, it's my health. Sometimes, it's my relationships. The year before and after giving birth contains its own series of beginnings and endings.

Home: To True Bistro
It’s here! It is over. I wake up to bright sunny skies at little after 7 in the morning. Well, Dave the Cat King, wakes me up for his breakfast. I attempt to turn over only to hear meows saturating my studio apartment. I rise with a slight attitude. Opening the blinds, I see the trees moved by a light breeze and know that the winds won't suffocate me.

Sign of The Times
Sunlight. Oh—how I craved to feel the sun’s rays on my skin without worries. How the thought of running around freely with no law holding me back— pestered my mind. I would go on walks through my neighborhood but it didn't feel the same, it became passionless. Seeing the same bland houses around me started driving me mad.
