“Nay Nay’s Prayer!”
“NayNay’s Prayer!” When I see you again. I hope I kept my word on the things I promised you ... or at the least, made a “Herculean Effort!” to make ALL of them true! I’ll ask, Did I make good on my 2nd chance on life and live true to myself? Or did I compromise, accept “my shackles & chains” and GIVE up!? Did I go get my dreams or leave “Them” sitting there, just waiting for me!? I’ll ask my Angel, 😇 ...Did I Live FREE❤️?!

Where Have My Dreams Gone?
It all started when I was a young girl. I've always wanted to portray the "pretty girl on screen." Whoever it was, white or black...I wanted to be...her. A far off, never reaching version of myself that only lives in my mind. At least that's what I'm realizing now. Dreaming about becoming an actress and promising people that they will see me on the big screen one day seemed to drive me. It seemed to give me a purpose, that I was going to be one of the biggest, most fabulous A list, award-winning actress and have all this money to spend, save, and use. My goal by 18/21 was to have my dream job as an actress, at 23 get married, then an 25 have kids and 27 work on television as I reach "retirement". Like WTF? I'm 26 right now and none of those things have come true yet. Matter fact, I currently still live with my parents and I still feel like I'm 24 or something. I've always wanted to live in the city and to think that because I dreamed it of living in some penthouse in Manhattan by my 20 somethings or because I pinned a photo of a gorgeous rich cliff hanging house on Pinterest that I was going to magically have it. What I realized about a year or two ago is that half of my dreams were just dreams. I had no action plan behind it. And all YOUR fantasies will remain fantasies unless you actually get up and physically and kinetically do something about it.

MY MANIFESTATION HOME
MY MANIFESTATION HOME, you may wonder why I call it that. It is the home that I see and love. I want to come home every night to my beautiful family, in my beautiful car to my beautiful home. Let me describe it so that you know. The house is made of gray concrete outside on the forst floor. White concrete on the second, both floors have stain beautiful chestnut wood. There are small vertical windows and high smal windows around the house. On the top floor are windows all around. To the back of the house is a porch and deck that stretches the length of the house with tall christmas tree bushes, covering the grey fence. The roof also has a thick octave shaped class.

The Home of My Dreams
I guess for a while now the one thing I wanted more than anything was isolation, and to be able to view beautiful things without the chaos of trials and tribulations. Overall, that ideology has become a big part of what I want for my dream home. Currently, I reside in Houston, TX, but after visiting Colorado, I realized that I was in love with the simplicity of the small towns – Like Del Norte. I loved the slowness of the town, and how there’s no one rushing to do things or traffic to hold you back. I loved the views of the mountains when the sun hit them, and the calmness of the Earth in general. So, this is where I would want my dream home to reside. I would want it to be on at least 5-7 acres of land, but I would love for that land to be surrounded by trees, with a lake behind it and with mountains in the far distance. Something about waking up and seeing that every morning brings a calmness and excitement to my heart. It would also be where I would grow all of my fruits and vegetables, and I just can’t wait for the Earth to nurture and love on my plants to help them grow.

Career Change?
Have you ever become unsatisfied with your current career path? I'm sure many people have been. I had been pretty satisfied with my career path. It isn't the most glamorous, nor the best career nor even the most lucrative. I was a retail worker. I loved it for a long time, especially when I was working for the right store.

The Single Mothers Survival Guide - A Dreamer In Action
“I recalled John Maxwell saying in Failing Forward, 80% of success is just showing up.” Do you have any dreams or aspirations? Most likely you do. Do you know where your passion lies inside of yourself? It could be possible that you don’t. Many of us don’t. We fall into jobs, get married without thinking things through, and generally accept the circumstances in our life. Think about it now while you are reading this. What makes your heart thump? What gifts were you born with? Do you dare to even hope when you already have enough to do—and all hope seems to do is lead to despair?

The Romance of a Routine
I think I speak for all of us when I say that we quickly realised how we take certain things for granted, after the entire world went into a protective state of quarantine. This experience has been very eye-opening and needless to say, there are so many things that I am looking forward to doing again.
