Time to Say Goodbye
“How is it almost Christmas already?” “This year has gone so fast!” “Where has the time gone?” We get it. Christmas trees, carol concerts, mistletoe and mulled wine. Often the festive season is one of anticipation and good old treating yourself. But as the nights start to close in, we find ourselves fearing the inevitable end of the year. Another one been and gone, passing us by. Maybe some of us live with regrets from what’s gone or fears of what another year may bring.

Crossroads
What a big day for me. I am at a crossroads. The end of another year, Christmas and celebration looming. I do not feel like celebrating. No, actually I do. I am celebrating the changes to come. I am certainly not celebrating my life as it is today, but what is to come; well, that surely is worth celebrating?

You Are More
It’s 2:54 PM on Monday, December 4, 2017 and it can be really hard to remember why your heart is beating today. Monday’s are hard days. You may still be in recovery mode from a really long weekend following a really long week of a really long month of a really long year. That’s okay. You are not alone. We all feel that way sometimes. And we all need a little help sometimes.

9 Crucial Things I Wish I Had Learned Sooner in Life
I have had many great teachers in my life, but none have taught me more than the greatest teacher of all-life. Through experience and problem based learning, life has given me more knowledge than any university or vocational school in existence. You may live and you may learn. And yes, you may never actually graduate. But at the end of the day, when all is said and done, who cares? Life isn’t all about the destination or the graduation, it’s about the journey—the forks, crossroads, and detours on the way. Life has been tough, and the road quite steep at times. But I’ve done my best to push through and keep moving. I’ve learned so much and yet so little at the same time. Many things I wish I had learned the easy way but instead I was forced to learn the hard way. Here are nine important things I wish I learned sooner in life.

Ken Jouself. Top Story - December 2017.
I guess it’s sort of a cliché to say, “confidence is key,” but as well as it is a cliché, it’s also very true. Someone told me that other day that people shouldn’t watch or go on social media, so that they do not feel less than another individual or simply insecure. I disagree with this concept. Now, I believe that people with insecurities should take steps to becoming more secure and confident with themselves and if turning off social media helps you, then by all means do that, but I want us to look at the thing we fear will create an insecurity and face that head on. Rebuttal the negativity with positivity. I believe confident comes with knowing yourself enough to see “bad” comments about yourself. To know others are not so fond of you and be okay with that because you love you.

Life Lessons: #1
As a nineteen-year-old, you may say that my life hasn't started yet, or maybe that you think I'm still ignorant of life and its life troubles. In fact, most will agree with this. I partially agree with this myself; yes, I am still experiencing life but what life has taught me in the nineteen years and six months that life is a wonderful platform where you can create your own story with the free will of choosing people how they affect your life, too. For whatever reason, you will always think 'why is this happening?' or 'what is the purpose of this [insert] lesson?' Majority of us will think life is cruel, but in reality, it can be used either way. You can either use your life experiences as a foundation to grow more; spirituality, physically, mentally. I have experienced all three of them that's for sure.
