It's All in Your Head
I have never gotten a tattoo. It is just not me. I have nothing against tattoos, some look quite good, impressive works of art adorning arms, shoulders, backs, and legs. Some people look natural with ink, I just do not see myself as one of those people.

Gossip, Rumours, and Lies
We all tend to gossip, judge, and comment on other people lives. The tea is hot sometimes (sips tea, hahah) and we can't help it but tell our friends. Sometimes we don't even know if the source is reliable or not, if we're even speaking facts, and we will still go ahead and tell somebody that will tell somebody that will tell somebody that will tell somebody...

A Letter to My Future Self
You're standing in line balancing five items in your arms waiting for your turn to be greeted by the lovely cashier, "Lori;" as you're standing in line, you wonder how many cases of bottled Sprite does one adult need? You look to your right at all of the chocolate that can make your body go into a diabetic coma. You eventually bring your attention to your left and you see your favorite celebrity on the cover of a magazine with the headline: "A Letter to Your Younger Self." For the past several years that has been the tagline most magazines use to remind disadvantaged people how "normal" the rich and famous can be. From J.K. Rowling to Kobe Bryant, celebrities have been open and honest about the advice they would give their younger selves. One topic I've never noticed a celebrity do is write a letter to their future selves. It's a chance for you to start where you currently are in life and project how you see your life in the future. Sounds simple, right? For some, it may be, but if you're like me then you love to analyze and break down every aspect of your life. So, I went one step further and started to think about how I saw my future self in love, in finance, in life. Here it goes…

Being Broken Is Essential for Your Success
Have you ever realized that at a low point, things feel as though they are falling apart, and there is, what some would think, "no hope," only to come out on the other side, stronger, wiser in decision making, and less fearful of what may come?

Pain, Guilt, Misery, and Regret
Well... It isn't easy of course. But, if we were to take a closer look at how we live, how we act, and how we present ourselves to others, then the pieces will connect. For instance, if someone were homeless because of a drinking issue and how they treated other women, then that is possibly why he/she ended up being broke and homeless.

How to Win When Things Don't Go Your Way
How to Win When Things Don't Go Your Way This past week I almost got scammed to spend $550, actually got robbed in person in the South Side of Chicago, borrowed $470 believing with absolute certainty that the money would so easily and quickly come back to me, only to fall short on the due date to return the money.

The Power of Pizza
Beauty is a thing with wings, flying high, beautiful, and blind in the sky until it isn't so high anymore, or flying so much as crashing headfirst into the ground. When you really think about it, that's high school. Hell, that's life. You don't normally see the beauty in it though, do you? Well, most people don’t. Joseph B. Wirthlin once said, “The more often we see the things around us—even the beautiful and wonderful things—the more they become invisible to us. That is why we often take for granted the beauty of this world: The flowers, the trees, the birds, the clouds—even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less.”

The Art of Doing
Sitting in a coffee shop in Carson, California, reading a few chapters of a motivational book I picked up at an Urban Outfitters store months prior, was the key to my successes today, and my future successes. Imagine being told that you couldn't or shouldn't pursue something, because of your social status, or because of how people perceive you to be. There is this common misconception in the middle-lower class that you should stay in this comfy-cozy bubble of office jobs, minimum wage jobs, or even boring high class jobs. Before I continue, this is not a biased article. I respect everyone's work choices, and what they choose to do in this life to survive and be happy. This article is for the young bosses who have yet to discover that they're capable of doing so much more. The young bosses aged between their mid-teens to late twenties need to hear this. The only thing that keeps you back from your goals in life, whether its major, minor, short/long-term, is your energy that is given when performing the art of doing.
