One Day Under An Open Sky
In a summer day, the air was very cool and fresh to inhale and clouds were also there on the sky with multi colors due to sunlight- which was about to set. It was looking such a charming vista. It was just like an eye capturing view. In this scenario I was completely obsessed with my thoughts coming to my mind one after another. Almost four birds were also flying in the open air, right above me in the sky. They were competing each other in form of couples in circular motion with full zeal. Lost in my own thoughts, I was just sitting on the floor in a very pleasant mood. By looking at those birds I began to reflect my personal life in my own sight and mind. The comparison which I made of my life with those flying birds- was such like our practical lives.

Lost in the race
StStarLost in the race. This morning, when I looked at myself in the mirror, I could see a confident woman with a beautiful smile dancing on her lips. She gazed back, right into my eyes, with oodles of passion and enthusiasm. She looked with sheer ardency, as if saying, that she will make it big one day. The look was fantabulous. She looked wonderfully assertive. She looked perfect.

Hurry Up & Wait!
Dear the inner you. You know, the one that you don’t understand- yet. How many times have you retracted your hand from that metaphorical knob? Frozen, thawing in the face of this narrow lit door. You know what I'm talking about. The windows too small to see the entirety of the other side, sometimes it’s just fogged. This is the door to an opportunity. Outside (and I mean right outside) of your comfortable zone. The room that you’ve encapsulated yourself in is comfortable enough. Just enough to survive.

How Are You Inventing Your Life Today?
** "Creatures don't encounter conditions, they make them."** **—From A Simpler Way, by Margaret Wheatley** Strolling down Lincoln Avenue in Portsmouth, I am struck by the excellence of the day forsythia, tulips and daffodils, brilliant sun, warm breeze and the opportunity and advantage I need to stroll in a solid body, through an agreeable area, independently.

Running a recruitment event and how not to do it
"Hello everybody" shrieked our presentation host. "My-name-is-Ker-ree and I'm a recruitment consultant and I really love my job" (pause for breath). "Now I know you've all had to get here really early today, but at least you'll all be home in time for Sunday lunch".

On The Dangers of Convenience
Making things easier for us is not a bad thing in and of itself. But it can be problematic when we become too comfortable. Why? Because it is through hardship that we adapt and grow. It is in the darkest of moments that we shine the most.

What I’ve Learned from Three Years of Journaling
My fascination with journaling started at a very young age. I’m pretty sure it was after I read “Harriet the Spy” and became obsessed with the idea of recording everything in notebooks. A diary with a little lock on it that I found at the Scholastic Book Fair that same year would have certainly helped get me started but it was pink, and diary-keeping seemed like something only girls did in books or on TV shows.
