Shameless Manifesting

How To Be Completely Unapologetic!

By Cozett DunnPublished 4 years ago 5 min read
Me at Miracle Resort Hotel in Antalya, Turkey June 2021

I traveled to Turkey for the first time recently. I did a solo trip. It was an enlivening experience to say the least. As a matter of fact, I had an awakening in the middle of Istanbul airport. That was interesting not just for me but for everyone around me who witnessed it as well. I'll spare you the details because they're in one of my previous posts on here. At any rate, here I am back in Tennessee, exactly 2 months after my trip. And I've had yet another epiphany due to my time there. Are you ready for this? I ask because as I repeat in my head what I'm about to type I feel some jumbled emotions. But, it has to be said. I have to say it and I hope that if you find a resonance here that you will make this a mantra of your own. I'm actually going to put these quotes on my dream board.

Recently, I've felt led on a soul level to define what I want out of this life. I need to get specific. Maybe you do too? For a few weeks now I've had this phrase rolling around in my head, "I just want to change the world and enjoy the earth." Good, right? Well, today I had a tower moment of sorts while I was in the shower. Seemingly out of nowhere, these phrases popped into my mind, "What do I want? I want wealth without work, love without effort, and enjoyment without anxiety." Boom! That's what I want! Now, you may say, "duh, isn't that what we all want? Please be realistic here."

I'm here to tell you that experience has shown me that these are NOT unrealistic, unachievable, pie in the sky, wishes at all. I flew over the Atlantic Ocean over 6,000 miles to a country that contrasts my own in many ways. Not only that but I did this solo, as one with a history of panic disorder, generalized anxiety, sleep apnea, (currently) overweight, and PTSD (not diagnosed but I am a psych major). Oh, and I was broke after paying for my trip there. I had $200.00 in my bank account and no credit cards. I was totally in a place where I had to trust the universe. And guess what? It supplied more than I could have dreamed. I met a beautiful Turkish man there and we had a wonderful time. We spent evenings walking the shore of the Mediterranean and getting to know each other. Have you ever seen the movie, "300"? He looks similar to Gerard Butler in that movie except with darker skin and his hair and beard are black as onyx. Gorgeous, kind, intelligent, educated, honest and fun. We are still in contact. We hold each other loosely I think, knowing that we are so far away from each other. This is where the lessons of life and the law of attraction come into my story. You see, I am basking in the brilliance and vibrance of our connection. I am wide open to all the good things that can happen to remove barriers for us to be together.

I have lived a life against the odds. So, if I've made it this far (did you see my recent story about the man who tried to kill my mother and then years later found me?? Yeah go read it too) who's to say I can't live out and experience my wildest dreams? Why can't I live my best life for the rest of my life? People do it everyday! So here's where I want to circle back to shameless manifesting and how to be unapologetic about it.

I want for my life: wealth without work, love without effort and enjoyment without anxiety. If you want these same things I want to encourage you. In those moments when you are at the edge of your comfort zone with the potential to go somewhere you've never gone, or do something you've never done, I want you to lean into the discomfort and break your own barriers. Notice I said, "barriers" not "boundaries." Before I go any further I want to disclaim I am not giving advice or encouraging anyone who may read this to place themselves in dangerous or unhealthy situations. You know you better than I do.

Life is about adventure. To truly live is to conquer yourself. To truly have an intimate connection with life is to truly know yourself. And, to truly thrive in life is to believe in the impossible and nourish yourself, your soul, with a faith that screams you're ready, even if you don't feel ready. That's it. Three things: Conquer, know, nourish. I'm a firm believer that we can learn from the mistakes of others. And now I'm a firm believer that we learn from the successes of others and utilize their experiences for our own manifestations. You read me right. Maybe you are an anxiety sufferer, a widow, overweight, feeling like you're too old or whatever. Just know that you can read my story and the stories of countless others and "feel into the vibration" of the stories to manifest the story you want to tell.

Energetics are a fascinating and dynamic thing. You can use the energy you feel from reading this story to bring into existence the stories you are daring to dream. So, if you're reading this consider it a sign. In the future I will be talking more about some unusual energetic experiences I've had that I'd like to think has helped others. Hint: if you're into dreams, as in the kind that float across your mind's eye as you sleep, you'll love it.

So, I leave you with this. First, I ask that you take off the limits and at the very least allow yourself to visualize what living your best life would look like for you. No matter how crazy it might seem to society. This is YOUR life-story and you owe no one an apology for any edits or storylines you may add. Second, bask in the emotions you feel when reading the stories or watching the videos of others who inspire you. Do it for a long time. Not just a couple of quick seconds as the scenes pass or the words tick off. Third, conquer yourself, know yourself, and nourish yourself.

That's it! I'm going to be doing this and I hope you will too. I plan on keeping you updated on my wild journeys. I certainly hope to read of yours as well. Cheers to adventure. Let's ascend shall we?
