How You Can Reap More Than You've Sown
The Unexpected and Juicy Reward For Your Work

Are you looking for a delicious and encouraging message? I have a timely one for you. I've intentioned this message to be like the perfect amount of rain to nourish any dry soul who reads this.
See this pepper? Here is what I love about this pepper. Inside of it was another pepper growing. But, I couldn't possibly see that from the outside. The best I could do is pick it up, make sure it didn't have spots, make sure it was grown according to my standards (organic, etc.), make sure it was bagged appropriately to transport it to my home and then wash it before I cut into it. That's all.
Inside this pepper was another harvest already growing. Not just seeds but an actual developing harvest. In light of that I have this question for you. Do you ever get tired of feeling you're in the seed stage? Ayeee. I know I do. Constantly sowing and then telling yourself you have to be patient that good things come to those who wait. Constantly batting back the impatience of reaping what you've sown. Knowing that you deserve every bit or more of all the good that is coming to you based on what you've sown. You keep looking for growth and you still see just seeds buried in the dirt. Sometimes the earth is so dry you question if you did the right thing or put your energy into the right place. Then other times the soil is so wet you fear the inundation of excess water will surely waterlog your seed and kill it altogether because it's simply too much to propagate healthy growth.
Sometimes you see sprouts! You get soooo excited because you now have clear indicators that your seed is indeed growing but because it's still in sprout form you can't enjoy it or even disturb it because it is still too tender and way too early to try to pick it. Clearly, you wouldn't be able to enjoy it yet. But, then there are moments of more measurable growth. The moment your seed has gone from sprout to a near fully formed fruit or vegetable. Just on the cusp of being fully grown and hardy enough to pluck and enjoy.
This is where you're at. I sense this in my spirit so please listen up. If you're reading this post just know that your harvest is at hand...AND that it may come INSIDE of unusual packaging. You see where I'm going with this don't you?? In other words...EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.
I had no idea when I cut into this beauty there would be an additional pepper that if I wanted to I could also add to the delicious dish I was cooking up. It had formed just enough to be edible and enjoyable. It had grown to that point while it's farmers were unaware. The people who planted this seed...had NO IDEA that what would grow inside of it would outperform many of their other peppers ALL IN ONE growth cycle. The little seed that this sprouted from went to work while already inside of its larger counterpart. Those seeds you've sown...are developing in UNEXPECTED ways! While you were planting and expecting only one pepper to come from your work somehow, and unbeknownst to you an additional seed was already growing inside one of the rewards you planned on reaping.
If you are struggling wondering, "when??" This is your sign. I'm here to encourage you. Don't give up! Don't lose hope! Your harvest and time of reaping WAY beyond what you've sown is coming!! Soon it will be time to slice into the deliciousness of the fruit of your sowing and be absolutely surprised.
Here's an additional feel-good secret. Clearly, the tiny pepper wasn't as large as the one it had grown in. But, the fact that it was "an extra" that was indeed large enough to enjoy ADDED to my sensory experience. It added to the already fun and anticipatory vibe I had going in preparing my meal. That extra mental lift wasn't one I was expecting. But, it enhanced the already great experience I was having by creating something healthy and scrumptious for my body to enjoy.
I encourage you when you read this...be tuned to and extra sensitive to pleasant surprises. Because they WILL happen!
It's gonna be juicy my friend. And way more than enough. Even if you don't see it coming.
