Searching is the meaning of looking for something. As time passes in our lives we tend to search even more. As we uncover the truth about one aspect of our lives we begin to search for another.
Life is a funny thing. We live and die. Some of us just go through life doing and doing and doing. While the beat of the drum goes on. I used to live my life that way. Day in and day out the same routine. I would get up and then get my son up. We would both get ready for work and school, and then the same thing the following day. Boring.
I have always been attracted to storms, nature, and finding new things. I was lucky enough to have friends that were the same. My friends loved being with my son, which was great. He had so much fun anywhere we went. He loved the beach. We would walk, rollerblade, and swim during the summer months. So there was always a story everywhere I went.
One night down the beach I was walking with my son, nephew, and friends at two storms combined from two different directions right over us. Lets just say it was dangerous at one point. We were running gazebo to gazebo trying not to struck but lightning that was coming down not across. We made it. But this was not my first rodeo with storms. I have always had a special connection with storms and nature.
Why am I mentioning this? Why am I talking about storms while talking about searching? Good question. Because I know what I am drawn to, and my energy. These are the things that ignite my inner soul. I am pointing out that people have to know what ignites them. What is your passion? What is your desire? When you find that answer, searching will become easier.
For example, I have friends that search for the next big job, or search for the next big sale. Some for the next big house. I search for the next big creation, the next big story, or the next big achievement. Everyone has their own gift, will, and power.
I know what I want out of life but I am a little slower while searching. Being 55 years old I realize I cannot have everything at once, and I have to accomplish one thing at a time. I still search but take my time and learn while searching. Being an energy healer you would be surprised how many surprises that come my way. I lose things within a blink of an eye. Or are they moved? Not sure. However I spend a lot of time searching for misplaced things. I also search for the next big mystery in my life.
Have you ever lost somthing only to find it months later? If your answer is yes there is a reason. It is not because you misplaced it. It is because you were not meant to find it at that time. In my life things are lost, moved, and misplaced frequently. Sometimes it is to stop me from doing something, sometimes it is to prevent me from leaving, or it was just not meant for me to have at that time. I always tell people the universe will remove something from your life before allowing something else in it to make room.
When you are searching for your next big moment, epiphany, life event, or new journey ask yourself first, what is meant for me? What should I be searching for? Is it a new love, money, place to live, or journey? BTW: Anytime is good to do this. It does not have to be before the new year. The best time to do this is when it feels right for you.
How to begin your search. Do not force this. Do not do it when you are upset, anxious, or feeling sluggish. Do this when you are relaxed, comfortable, and nothing else is on your mind but this.
